Many solvers miss having a second cryptic puzzle to solve on Saturdays, which is why I created the “Not the Saturday Prize Puzzle” series. Here you will find puzzles from current published setters, like Anax, Elgar and Tim Moorey, through to complete novices offering their debut puzzle. The only criteria are that they should be enjoyable to solve and cleared for publication. Initially only one puzzle a week will be offered – at midday on Saturday. Comments will not be allowed on the puzzles themselves as comments on static pages become very stale after a short time – instead there will be a post associated with each puzzle where you can say whatever you like (within reason).
There is an index to the interactive versions of these puzzles here.
