All clues are normal. In across answers longer than five letters, solvers should substitute nine four-letter members of a theme group of products (highlighted in the grid) with their four-letter origin, in one case a different origin from the other eight.
Seen another way, the eight theme words sharing the same point of origin may be locally consumed.
It may help solvers to know that Elgar also uses the aliases Enigmatist, Nimrod and Io.
