Somewhere in the grid you should discover the name of a book.  Who is the author?

Solvers should complete the answer box below with the name of the author. There is no need to send a completed solution. Closing date for entries is midnight on July 20th. The winner will receive “The Daily Telegraph Cracking Cryptic Crosswords Collection” – four books of daily puzzles in a slipcase, kindly donated by Tilsit.

Please note that, due to punitive postal charges, while the competition is open to all, the prize is only available to UK solvers.

To return to this page follow “Crosswords / Monthly Prize Puzzles – Index” from the main menu.

Feedback on puzzles is welcomed and will be passed on to setters. A review will be published after the closing date.
