Monthly Prize Puzzle No 28 (September 2014)
Latitude by Alchemi

There are several placenames in the grid. What you have to enter is the name of the one nearest to the parallel of latitude named in two horizontal lines.
Solvers should enter just their solution in the answer box below. There is no need to send a completed grid. Closing date for entries is midnight on September 20th 2014. I have managed to acquire a copy of Chambers XWD – A Dictionary of Crossword Abbreviations which the winner will receive. All entries are confirmed by email. In the event of two or more entries being received from the same solver all of these entries will be disqualified, except that mistakes can be corrected by using the box below and clearly requesting that the earlier entry be withdrawn.
Please note that, due to punitive postal charges, while the competition is open to all, the prize is only available to UK solvers.
To return to this page follow “Crosswords / Monthly Prize Puzzles – Index” from the main menu.
Feedback on puzzles is welcomed and will be passed on to setters. A review will be published after the closing date.
